Roaming zones and tariffs

Below you will find the zones and tariffs that apply when you use your phone outside of Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

Zones

The countries are categorised into 4 zones: EUROPE, TRAVEL, WORLD and FAR. These zones determine the charges for using your phone abroad.

Below you will find a complete list of countries by zone.

EUROPE zone

Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark*, Faroe Islands, Finland, France* (including Corsica), Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands*, Norway* (including Svalbard), Poland, Portugal (including Madeira and the Azores), Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Spain (including the Canary Islands and the Balearic Islands), Sweden, United Kingdom* (excluding the Channel Islands: Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man), Vatican City.

TRAVEL zone

Argentina, Australia*, Bangladesh, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, China*, Colombia, Croatia, Dominican Republic, Estonia, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand*, Peru, Qatar, Republic of South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovenia, Taiwan, Thailand, Türkiye, United Arab Emirates, United States of America* (including Alaska and Hawaii).

WORLD zone

Tariffs for calls, SMS and internet in roaming

In MyGoMo you can follow your usage and modify your roaming preferences at any time.

The roaming tariffs apply to calls and SMS abroad and are not included in your subscription.

Incoming calls are charged by the second. Outgoing calls are always billed for a minimum of 30 seconds and then charged by the second. The total amount is rounded up to the next ten cents.

You can activate data packages and check your data usage at any time on costcontrol.go-mo.ch/status.

How much will I have to pay for data usage in roaming once I have used up my included volume?

Only for GoMo+ – If you used up your allowance, you will be redirected to a page where you can purchase additional data packages. These packages are valid for up to 365 days after activation. If you decide not to buy a package, your mobile data access will be blocked, and no extra charges will apply.
